Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Mid-Level Back-End Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of our applications. You will work closely with our front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and contribute to the design and implementation of our core platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and Go.
• Design and manage databases using MongoDB, ensuring data consistency, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless user experiences.
• Implement robust, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices and coding standards.
• Debug and resolve issues related to server-side performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development and continuously improve your skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in back-end development.
• Strong proficiency with Node.js and experience with Go.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to better collaborate with front-end developers.
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of web security best practices and performance optimization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with other back-end frameworks and languages (e.g., Express, Flask, Ruby on Rails).
• Familiarity with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of message brokers and event-driven architecture (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Understanding of agile development methodologies.
